Nominate your Hawaii Healthcare Hero

A Hawaii Healthcare Hero is an extraordinary healthcare worker who went above and beyond to care for you or a loved one in a way that you’ll always remember.

Who is your Hawaii Healthcare Hero? Was it…

The ER worker who saved your keiki's life?

The dialysis nurse who has helped to keep you alive?

The nurse who came to your home to help you recover after your stroke?

Or the physical therapist who helped you heal after your accident?

Adventist Health Castle Receives National Award

A contingent from Adventist Health Castle journeyed to Baltimore in the first week of April to receive the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the nation's only presidential award for performance excellence and innovation.

Castle is the first organization in Hawaii to win the award, which takes years of work and preparation to achieve. On April 8, Walter Copan, U.S. Undersecretary of Commerce for Standards and Technology, and director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, presented the award to the five national recipients for 2017.
