She will discuss advance care planning; pain assessment and management strategies; common problems impacting those living with advanced dementia; the impact of hospitalization; and the consequences of caregiving.

This program is pending approval by the Oregon Nurses Association for approval to award 1.0 nursing contact hour. Oregon Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Participants can earn 1.0 nursing contact hour by attending either the live session on 3/8/18 or viewing the recording of the live session and completing the requirements. The recording will be available for one year from the date of the live session (until 3/8/2019).
