Join us as Kamal Masaki, MD, Professor and Chair of the Department of Geriatric Medicine at The John A. Burns School of Medicine, shares key factors associated with maintaining brain health. She’ll review the structure and function of healthy brain aging, define cognitive reserve, and discuss the impacts of physical, mental, and social activity as well as nutrition. Dr. Masaki will also describe risk factors for dementia, including cardiovascular risk factors, and discuss potential protective factors.
