Join us as Dr. Cody Takenaka, Assistant Professor of the Department of Geriatric Medicine at The John A. Burns School of Medicine, takes a closer look at delirium and the elderly. She’ll review risk factors, discuss strategies for prevention, and delve into the management of delirium. She’ll also discuss the 3 D’s: Delirium, Dementia, and Depression.
Those attending the session will:
Target Audience: Nurses, social workers, direct care staff, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, administrators and other healthcare staff who work with our aging population.
This program is approved by the National Association of Social Workers – Hawai’i Chapter (Approval HI62792018-21) for up to 1 Social Work continuing education contact hour(s).
This continuing nursing education is approved by the Oregon Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation for one (1) nursing contact hour. Approval valid through 6/5/2020.
This webinar will be recorded and available on the HAH website for up to one (1) year after the live presentation. One (1) nursing contact hour is pending approval for the archived webinar by the Oregon Nurses Association, an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
