Fundamentals for the Beginner Coder Webinar Series
Jun 15 @ 6:00 pm – Sep 15 @ 7:00 pm

Even though ICD-10 has been delayed, home health agencies need good ICD-9 coders now!

Accurate coding is essential to receiving appropriate home health PPS reimbursement. An average coding mistake can cost an agency between $350 and $1200 an episode.

This series is taught by veteran instructor Joan Usher. She has taught thousands of coders and clinicians over the years. Her straightforward teaching style earns rave reviews from all her students.

This webinar series will provide participants an overview of how to utilize ICD-9-CM coding guidelines correctly and how coding impacts agency payments. The series is designed for the new staff clinician, intake department or inexperienced coders. It’s also a great refresher for existing staff. It will provide your coders with the fundamentals they need now so they can be better prepared for ICD-10 transition next year.

There’s no need to worry about staff vacations over the summer. This is an on-demand series that will be available for a full three months. If your participants have questions, Joan will respond to email questions posed throughout the summer via a Q&A document that will be emailed to registered agencies monthly.
