The implementation of PDPM on October 1, 2019 has come and gone; however, the complexities continue. With the largest change in skilled nursing facility (SNF) Medicare Part A reimbursement since 1998, we expected challenges with implementation and we were not disappointed. Questions continue related to skilled level of care, primary diagnosis, case mix components and billing….to name a few.
This all-day training session will cover all components that are used to establish the SNF Medicare Part A rate, as well as focus on areas related to frequently asked questions over the initial months of implementation.
- Preadmission process
- Primary diagnosis
- Section GG process
This interactive session will include key components listed above and how your facility can focus on key areas impacting compliance and reimbursement.
