The AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program provides a pathway for providers of long-term care services to journey towards performance excellence. The program is based on core values and criteria of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program.
The Bronze Award level provides skilled nursing facility (SNF) and assisted living facility (ALF) applicants with tools and resources they need for continuous improvement in quality care. Applicants will assess their organization’s mission, vision, and key factors that lead to success. Upon completion of this day-long workshop you will leave with a draft application.
The Silver Award level provides skilled nursing facility (SNF) and assisted living facility (ALF) applicants with a thorough assessment of how their organization works, its effectiveness, and tools for improvement in their approaches. Applicants who have achieved the AHCA/NCAL Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award within the last three (3) years are eligible for this workshop.
