Teepa Snow: A Positive Approach® to Dementia Care

HAH is proud to welcome Teepa Snow, occupational therapist and a leading expert in dementia care. Teepa’s unique and innovative teaching methods, along with her extensive knowledge of how dementia develops over time, have helped a multitude of caregivers and family members maintain positive and meaningful relationships with loved ones throughout their journey with Alzheimer’s or dementia.

Attendees will learn about:

  • Changing Resistance to Care to Participation in Care
  • Managing Behavior: Start with Yourself
  • Enhancing Mobility and Reducing Fall Risks
  • Eating and Nutritional Issues in Dementia Care

Target Audience:  Healthcare professionals and community members who care for individuals living with dementia.
