Annual Meeting
Healthcare Association of Hawaii members are cordially invited to the HAH Annual Meeting on Thursday, July 17. The meeting will be held at the Prince Waikiki Hotel from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Live online participation is also available this year.
The lunch keynote speaker is Clifton Porter, President and CEO at the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).
Porter was named President and CEO after Mark Parkinson retired last year. Dr. Porter previously served as the Senior Vice President of Government Relations for AHCA/NCAL, leading the organization’s legislative agenda and advocacy efforts.
We also have Molly Smith, Group Vice President for Public Policy at the American Hospital Association (AHA). She will discuss in-person federal level changes to the hospital landscape, workforce needs, reimbursement challenges, rising costs, and the evolving AI risks and benefits.
Dr. Steven H. Landers, CEO of the National Alliance for Care at Home will join live video. Topics he will share include federal changes, the new Alliance structure formed by the merger between NAHC and NHPCO, and staffing challenges facing the home health and hospice industries.
