Overview

Calling all department heads! What to expect from this series: Essential lessons for department heads to drive facility operational success and IDT integration.

This 8-week webinar series will address essential functions, quality of care, and department-specific management functions for department heads. Explore topics such as:

  • Department-specific considerations for infection control

  • Survey preparedness

  • Role in meetings

  • IDT systems integrations

  • MDS supportive documentation

Additional topics such as care planning, driving quality measures (QMs), employee satisfaction, and customer service will also be discussed.

Each webinar is 60 minutes in length and registration includes access to on-demand content.

Cost

Each registrant is allowed to share their weekly link with one (1) other individual within their facility. For instance, if the primary registrant is the Administrator, they may share the link for the first session, “Department Details for the DON,” with their DON in week one. In week two, they can share their link with the Social Services Director.

All purchases include access to the on-demand recording(s) and handouts.

*No more than two people from the same facility can use the same link during a live webinar.

  • Series Registration Rate: $500 for 8 webinars for 2 individuals (that’s only $31.25 per webinar!)

  • $65 per additional registrant (must be from the same facility)

Non-Member Pricing:

  • Series Registration Rate: $700

Continuing Education

Eight (8) continuing education (CE) contact hours are available for nursing home administrators. Proactive LTC Consulting is managing all NAB credits.

Nursing home administrators who want to earn NAB continuing education credit, must enter their NAB Registry ID # on the registration form below in order to receive credit. (The NAB Registry ID # looks like: R1234567)

To be eligible for a CE certificate each person must register for the series, pay the registration fee, attend the session(s) via the webinar software on your computer or via the GoTo Webinar™ mobile app, and complete the corresponding HAH evaluation(s). Phone only attendance is not tracked.

State licensure boards have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses.
