Advocacy Day
DATE Aug. 25, 2020
LOCATION Virtual meeting
For HAH Members Only
HAH members who have RSVP’d for HAH’s Advocacy Day are reminded that materials and videos are now available for review online at the link sent to registrants.
The materials are available on a password-protected basis only to those who have registered. The materials include video reports by the chairs of key state legislative committees, an update on the sustainability program, information on the HAH political action committee, and a video report by Bill Dombi, president of the National Association for Home Care & Hospice. A video from Mark Parkinson, President & Chief Executive Officer of the American Health Care Association (AHCA) and the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) will also be posted for viewing on Monday, Aug. 24.
This year, Advocacy Day will kick off with American Hospital Association President and CEO Rick Pollack having a live online exchange with HAH President and CEO Hilton Raethel on the most urgent hospital issues facing our nation.
The event is entirely online because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but HAH regular members will still be able to discuss and approve the association’s advocacy priorities for the coming year in a moderated forum.
Please direct questions to Paige Heckathorn Choy at pchoy@hah.org. Members who would like to ensure they can access the Microsoft Teams platform may contact Jamie Velasco at jvelasco@hah.org or Stacy Wong at swong@hah.org.
