2020 PDPM Master Class Webinar Series with Optional Certification
Overview
This 12-month webinar series focuses on developing mastery of the skills required to successfully lead clinical reimbursement excellence under the Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM). Participants may register for each session individually or register for the full series at a discounted rate. Recordings of the live sessions are included with full series purchase. Optional Certification is available for individuals completing the entire series and passing the certification exam at the end of the completed series.

AMIE MARTIN, OTR/L, CHC, RAC-CT serves as President and Clinical Consultant of Proactive Medical Review & Consulting, LLC.
Amie Martin is an outcome driven Clinical Consultant, Medical Review expert, and healthcare operations executive with over twenty years of experience serving in post-acute care as a clinical program specialist and in leadership positions. She is currently certified in healthcare compliance, with a record of successfully partnering with post-acute care providers and rehabilitation contractors to improve regulatory compliance, 5-star quality, clinical programs, clinical documentation and reduce claim error rates under medical review. She is a Certified Resident Assessment Coordinator through the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination (AANAC), with a strong background in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Prospective Payment System (PPS) reimbursement and rehabilitation RUG supportive documentation requirements. Amie has extensive experience consulting with SNF and outpatient therapy providers undergoing reimbursement audit types including UPIC, ZPIC, RAC, MAC, CERT, and therapy manual medical review, as well as managed care and private insurance appeals.
SHELLY MAFFIA, MSN, MBA, RN, LNHA, QCP serves as a Director of Regulatory Services for Proactive Medical Review & Consulting, LLC.
Shelly Maffia is a Registered Nurse and Nursing Home Administrator with experience serving as Director of Nursing, Administrator, and as a multi-site Corporate Nurse Consultant. She holds AANAC’s QAPI Certified Professional (QCP) credential, and the Long Term Care Infection Prevention Certification. She is an AHIMA approved ICD-10 trainer.
Shelly specializes in not only identifying SNF regulatory compliance risks, but in supporting SNF leadership in implementing the practical, real-life solutions that drive staff engagement and 5 star results. Shelly coordinates Proactive’s active Phase 2 Requirements of Participation facility partnership project teams.
KRISTEN WALDEN, RN, MSN, RAC-CT serves as Clinical Consultant for Proactive Medical Review & Consulting, LLC.
Kristen is a Registered Nurse with over nineteen years of long term care experience. She has experience as a Regional Clinical Reimbursement and Nurse Consultant, Director of Nursing and Resident Assessment Coordinator. Specialty Areas include: PDPM Transition, RAI accuracy, Case Mix, Care Planning, Restorative Implementation, Quality Measures, Quality Assurance Process Improvement and Regulatory Compliance.
ELEISHA WILKES, RN, RAC-CT serves as Clinical Consultant for Proactive Medical Review & Consulting, LLC.
Eleisha Wilkes is a Registered Nurse with over fifteen years of experience in long term care. She has served as a Director of Nursing, Case Manager and Resident Assessment Coordinator with extensive responsibility and success in driving QA in the areas of person centered assessment and care planning through effective systems, staff development, and interdisciplinary team collaboration.

Valid for the live webinars only: NAB (Nursing Home Administrators) Approved Contact Hours: 1.25 each session
Valid for the live and recorded webinars: This continuing nursing education activity was approved by Oregon Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation for 1.25 contact hours per webinar session (15 contact hours for the entire series). Approval valid through 01/07/2022. OCEAN ID #2019-61.
State licensure boards have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses.

To receive a Certificate of Completion, each individual must register, pay the registration fee, and complete the Evaluation after the webinar, attesting to their attendance at the session(s). Please allow 30 days for processing.
