2024 HAH Annual Meeting

This year’s HAH Annual Meeting will be held on Thursday, July 25 at the Prince Waikiki Hotel, Pi`inaio Ballroom from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Live online participation is also available this year.

The lunch keynote speaker is American Health Care Association President and CEO Mark Parkinson. Parkinson served as the 45th Governor of the State of Kansas. Prior to that, he was the owner and operator of long-term care facilities in Kansas and Missouri.

Parkinson has received numerous awards including being named the recipient of the McKnight’s Pinnacle Career Achievement Award in 2024.

We also have a live conversation with American Hospital Association Executive Vice President, Government Relations and Public Policy Stacey Hughes and a video on national home health and hospice topics from William Dombi of the National Association of Home Care and Hospice.

The draft agenda can be viewed here.

1. Hotel rooms - Those of you who want to book a room at the Prince Waikiki Hotel may contact Cathy Nakahara at the hotel directly at CNakahara@princewaikiki.com. Room rates are running about $240 plus taxes and fees per night, with overnight parking extra. Rates are subject to change.

2. Parking – There are self-parking and valet parking options at the Prince on the day of the event. HAH will validate your parking. Please remember that the validation does not cover other nearby parking, such as for the marina.

3. Wine bottle drop off – Those of you who are donating bottles for the Wine Wall, part of the Silent Auction at the HAH Awards and Scholarship Gala in October, may drop off those bottles at the Annual Meeting. Please make sure we have your contact information with the wine.

4. Nursing mothers – If you will need a private place to pump during the break or the lunch period, please contact Stacy or Jamie at swong@hah.org or jvelasco@hah.org in advance. We can slot you into the schedule to use a nearby conference room.
