Hawai’i is experiencing an unprecedented disastrous surge of COVID-19 throughout the state. We need our healthcare system able to care for people in Hawai’i who are sick—whether it be from COVID, trauma, stroke, heart attack, cancer or other problem.

Please get vaccinated. Everyone, wear a mask, maintain physical distances, clean your hands, and stay home when you are sick or have any symptoms.

Donate to the HHERF Scholarship Fund

HAH is holding a scholarship fund drive to help bolster the healthcare workforce in Hawaii. All of the proceeds go towards awarding students a scholarship who are pursuing a degree in any healthcare related field. Anyone can donate any amount to the scholarship fund drive.

New Survey Reveals Hawaii Long-Term Care Providers Outpace Mainland Counterparts in COVID Vaccinations

Nursing facilities and other long-term care facilities in Hawaii are vaccinating an average 78% of their staff against COVID-19, demonstrating rates far higher than the national average of 38%, and highlighting a growing acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccines as time goes on, according to a report by the Healthcare Association of Hawaii, an industry trade association.
